16-19 Bursary Fund

The 16-19 Bursary Fund is a government resource designed to support those students who may be experiencing financial hardship, helping them to continue in full time education by removing barriers to participation. It may be used to help with purchasing books and equipment and also for travel costs, course related trips, re-sit fees, entrance exams and travel to Open Days. We may also be able to provide you with a laptop for your studies.

 

The eligibility criteria and conditions can be found in our combined policy and application form:

• 2024-25 general application form

• Abridged version for existing FSM students

• Abridged version for year 12’s returning into year 13, if circumstances unchanged

Please bring your completed form to the Finance Office on the top floor

(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30-3.30)

Ideally by 30th September 2024

(applications can be accepted after this date and at any time during the year if your circumstances change)

Applications are made annually, so year 13 students need to re-apply but may not need to bring in the evidence again unless circumstances have changed materially. Please see the abridged version of the form above.
